About Us

Hospicare Pharmacy was founded in 2003 by Jensen Chang, PharmD., recognizing that the current retail pharmacy industry was not structured to meet the needs of hospice patients and their caretakers. Dr. Chang wanted a pharmacy that understands the complexity of hospice care. A team that is not only prompt, reliable but also customizable in order to meet each individual patient’s needs. Hospice caretakers should be able to contact a pharmacist around-the-clock and the prescription orders should be fulfilled and delivered within hours and not days. Dr. Chang started Hospicare Pharmacy from ground up. He marketed his services to a small local hospice agency. He was the receptionist, technician, and pharmacist by day and driver by night. Years passed by, and Hospicare Pharmacy has grown through word of mouth. Currently, Hospicare Pharmacy has patients throughout Southern California and has offices in Los Angeles and Inland Empire.
